I ha...I am trying to replace my was7 with jboss7.1.<br />I have few questions on it. if you could help me to resolve this.<br />1. I have few python scripts to create queues and datasources. These were written for was7<br /> I want to use these as it is to jboss7. is there any way to execute those in jboss7<br /><br />2. Its your application, you should be the one that tells ME if it is possible.<br /><br />Sure you can change the code so it starts to use the standard (removing those LocalBinding/RemoteBinding annotations should be enough), but I have no clue what kind of consequences that is going to have. If your remote JND...Sorry, its no longer supported. If your remote JNDI name must stay the same, you'll have to stick to JBoss 6 for now. Since JEE 6 there is a standard naming scheme for EJBs, you'll have to migrate to using it.<br /><br />This is why I don't advise using remote EJBs, its better to use JAX-WS or JAX-RS for remote interfacing since they are more portable standards. For example, I work with a lot of Date manipulation and the native Java API is too cumbersome, so I'm using JodaTime for this purpose. But, hibernate is not able to map JodaTime's date, unless you use a usertype, which is the case. The problem is: i don't seem to be able to deploy my app having this external jar dependency. How can I handle this kind of situation? I read that I can put every external jar I need in the EAR/lib folder, but how can I accomplish this using Maven?
